A Sea of Red

This very intense sunset photograph was taken at Point Reyes National Seashore near San Francisco. The image consists of bold intense red of the background with a red or orange S shaped curve that continues as a white S shaped curve. The sun had set and the ground reflected the red of the setting sun. The red or orange S is an estuary and the white S is formed by car headlights as the cars traveled along the highway in about 6 seconds. If a filter had been used, the car headlights would have been red.
