Canyonlands National Park, Utah. The image contrasts the heat and the
reddish and whitish soil and rock of the harsh canyon; the life of the
green vegetation atop the cliff, the Green River, and the hope of rain
suggested by the many clouds; and the cool and refreshing Henry Range
Mountains in the distance. A massive red monolith is observed to the
right. |
