| This striking late afternoon photo of the East Wall of Park Avenue was
taken in Arches National Park, Utah. The orange red sandstone and mudstone
East Wall forms a strong right to left diagonal which is bathed in late
afternoon sunlight. The image contrasts the orange red color of the
sandstone and mudstone, the West Wall shadows which are being cast from
the left, and the large mass of clouds and the deep blue sky. |
