This beautiful portrait of an anhinga bird, in breeding plumage, was taken on the Anhinga Trail, Everglades National Park, Florida. The bird, with the strong diagonal of the beak and head and the S sweep of the neck, is in front of a background of water. Leica has used this image in their promotional material. This photo received a loan collection award (highest award) by Professional Photographers of America
