Moonset, Hallett Peak
| This powerful image, taken over Bear Lake, captures the moment in time of
the setting of a nearly full moon behind 12,713 foot Hallett Peak in Rocky Mountain
National Park, Colorado. Taken at a little after 9:00 AM the moon is
cupped in the cusp of the mountain peak. The image captures the repetition of the conifer
trees and the massiveness of the mountain and the moon. Bogen/Gitzo is expected to use this image. |
